This Grievance Redressal Policy explains how you can raise a complaint with SwaLay Digital, operated by TalantonCore LLP, and how we handle it. We have adopted this Policy in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
1. What You Can Raise a Grievance About
You may contact our Grievance Officer about: content you believe infringes your copyright or other rights; content you find unlawful or in breach of our policies; how we handle your personal data, including requests to access, correct, or erase it, or to withdraw consent; payment, royalty, or refund concerns; account actions such as suspension or takedown; and any other complaint about the Platform.
2. How to Submit a Grievance
Email our Grievance Officer at swalay.care@talantoncore.in. To help us act quickly, please include: your full name and registered email (the identifier associated with your account); a clear description of the issue; the relevant release title, ISRC, UPC, URL, or transaction ID where applicable; the outcome you are seeking; and, for copyright complaints, the information and statements set out in our Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy, including a statement made under penalty of perjury and your signature.
3. Our Timelines
We will acknowledge your grievance within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt. For complaints under the IT Rules, 2021, we will resolve the matter as expeditiously as possible and ordinarily within fifteen (15) days, and we will act on requests to remove specified unlawful content within the timelines those Rules require. For data-protection grievances under the DPDP law, we will resolve the matter within ninety (90) days. If a matter needs more time or more information from you, we will tell you and keep you updated.
4. How We Handle Your Grievance
On receipt, we record and assign your grievance, review the facts and any evidence, take appropriate action (which may include correcting data, removing or restoring content, adjusting a payment, or explaining a decision), and communicate the outcome to you. For copyright matters, we follow the notice-and-takedown and counter-notification process in our Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy, including notifying the affected user and allowing a counter-notification.
5. Grievance Officer
The Grievance Officer is our designated contact under the IT Act, 2000, the IT Rules, 2021, and the DPDP law, and also serves as our Data Protection contact.

6. Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate as the law allows. For data-protection matters, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India through its online portal. For other matters, you may pursue the remedies available to you under applicable law, including consumer-protection forums.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect on posting with a revised “Last Updated” date, and we will give notice of material changes on the Platform or by email.
7A. My DNA Service Grievances
Grievances about the My DNA Service that are within SwaLay’s control — including eMudra execution failures, incorrect application data submitted by SwaLay, or delays caused by SwaLay’s own administrative process — are handled by SwaLay’s Grievance Officer (Section 5 above) under the same timelines. Grievances about the substance of a royalty distribution made by the Indian Performing Right Society Limited (IPRS) or Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL India), or about the Copyright Office of India’s decision on a registration application, must be raised directly with IPRS, PPL, or the Copyright Office respectively, as SwaLay does not control and cannot overturn those decisions.
