Updates are appended to the article with a timestamp and a brief explanation of what new information has been added. The original article remains intact, with the update clearly distinguished from the original content.
Clarification
A clarification is issued when the original article, while not factually incorrect, may have been unclear, incomplete, or open to misinterpretation. Clarifications provide additional context or explanation to ensure readers fully understand the subject matter. They are appended to the article with a timestamp.
Retraction
A retraction is issued in rare cases where an article is found to be fundamentally flawed, based on fabricated information, or where continued publication could cause significant harm. Retracted articles are removed from public view and replaced with a retraction notice explaining the reason for removal. The retraction notice remains permanently accessible at the original URL.
How We Handle Errors
Response Time
We aim to acknowledge all error reports within 24 hours of receipt. Factual corrections are published within 48 hours of verification. For complex matters requiring additional investigation, we will provide a status update within 72 hours.
Correction Placement
All corrections, updates, clarifications, and retractions are prominently displayed at the top of the affected article with a clear timestamp. We do not silently edit articles to remove errors. Every material change is documented and disclosed to our readers.
Correction Archive
We maintain an internal log of all corrections, updates, clarifications, and retractions issued. Significant corrections are also noted in our monthly editorial transparency report.

No external party, advertiser, or partner can influence whether a correction is issued or how it is handled. Editorial decisions regarding corrections are made solely by our editorial team based on factual accuracy and journalistic integrity.
AI-Generated Content Disclosure
SwaLay Digital may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with research, data analysis, or drafting processes. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, verified, and edited by human editors before publication. We clearly disclose when AI tools have been used in the creation of any article. AI-generated content that a human editor has not verified is never published.
